Presentation Summary:

In April 2007, Penn State University formed the Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiative to address the need for a cohesive and comprehensive identity and access management strategy for Penn State. This group, comprised of thirty individuals who span many administrative areas at the University (including the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center), has an understanding of digital identities, knowledge of business processes in their respective areas, and an eagerness to collaborate in finding a solution that will provide a strategic direction for Penn State and IT. Kevin Morooney, vice provost for Information Technology at Penn State, received the IAM team's recommendations and roadmap on February 18, 2008, and will present the findings during this Lunch & Learn session.
