Connecting to PASS
There are several ways in which one may connect to PASS. These include:
- Connect via the Samba (a.k.a. SMB or CIFS) PASS Gateway
- Connect via the NFS PASS Gateway

- Connect via Secure File Transfer (Secure FTP)
- How to connect via Secure File Transfer, a feature of the Secure Shell (SSH) program.
- Connect via Web Browser (PASS Explorer)
- To connect via the PASS Explorer, simply visit the URL: https://explorer.pass.psu.edu/
- To set or view file permissions, select a file within PASS Explorer and click <Info>. Then click <Go to permissions>.
- PASS Explorer contains additional features such as a photo album creation tool.
