Computer Lab Assistants (Lab Rovers)

Attention Computer Enthusiasts! Looking for a way to both gain experience and make some extra cash? Teaching and Learning with Technology, a unit of ITS, periodically needs roving computer lab assistants.

Roving lab assistants will visit several labs in as many as six or seven different buildings during a shift; however, labs will be grouped as closely as possible. The responsibilities include checking printers for paper and print quality, checking for malfunctioning computers and reporting them, answering user questions as time permits, keeping the lab neat, reporting any unusual situations, and other duties as assigned.

All shifts are open, but there is premium pay for the 12 midnight to 8:00 a.m. shift for students aged 21 and over.

To apply, please contact Kip Lewis at dsl1@psu.edu.
