IT Fee

ITS Philosophy Statement on IT Fee Eligibility

The Information Technology Fee (IT Fee) was instituted in 1990 to fund upgrades to computer equipment and central computing facilities which supported and were of benefit to all students at all locations of the University. Today, the IT Fee purpose has expanded past the central facilities to also support campus computing investments that support and benefit all students at a specific location.

Funds generated by the Information Technology Fee should be used to develop and maintain information infrastructures and new services, securely, with the highest fidelity connectivity affordable. These services include support for teaching and learning, student research and student outreach experiences at all campus locations.
