Visitors Information Sheet for Income and Travel

When bringing a visitor to campus, ITS Financial Services highly recommends that units ask the visitor to complete and return a Visitors Information Sheet for Income and Travel (VISIT) prior to their arrival date.

Please inform your Financial Advisor or ITS Financial Services if you are bringing visitors to campus, especially those who will receive payments, such as travel reimbursement or honoraria.

The VISIT form provides us with personal information needed to process payments to United States citizens and alerts us to what VISA type will be used to enter the US in the case of international visitors. It is important to note that the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) has strict regulations regarding payments to international visitors. It's often difficult to assess if visitors are US citizens and the use of the VISIT form should facilitate that process.
