As outlined in Policy FN10, business group meeting and meal expenses must be prudent, reasonable, and in the best interest of the University. Certain expenses, although reasonable, are not permitted on general funds, given that the source of funding is tuition and state appropriation.
Tips for group meals appropriately range up to 20%. Tips over 20% will be considered excessive and will not be reimbursed from any source.
