Beginning this week, Penn State departments will be able to order SecurID tokens conveniently online through the Computer Store. SecurID tokens are used to provide secure access to centralized administrative systems at the University, such as IBIS, ISIS, ADIS, ROSCOE, TESTAIS. In addition, these tokens must be used by faculty and instructors for grade reporting via eLion and ANGEL. Previously, SecureID token orders could be placed only through the AIS Help Desk via an IDCC. However, moving this process to the Computer Store will offer greater flexibility for faculty and staff who need to order and obtain their tokens. Departments that wish to purchase new SecurID tokens can order them online via Penn State's eBuy Web site (http://www.ebuy.psu.edu/), or directly through the Computer Store site (at http://computerstore.psu.edu) using a purchasing card. Faculty and staff can choose to have the tokens delivered at no charge or pick them up at the Computer Store in 12 Willard Building after being notified that the order is ready. Faculty and staff also have the option of purchasing their tokens in person at the Computer Store. Prices will remain $31 for each token. For more information about the SecurID program, go to http://computerstore.psu.edu/securid.htm.
