research and public service programs of the University. Provides
computing solutions to support the University Libraries' programs
and services. Provides technical leadership in research and
development of digital libraries initiatives.

Mark Saussure, Director
- Responsible for the servers, network, workstations, and systems
software that underlie the digital library systems and services
supported by Digital Library Technologies and the operations
of those systems, with reliability and availability an ever
more important element.

Lynn Garrison, Director
- Responsible for research into and analysis, development and
integration of digital library software components and software
systems. This unit will work with the University Libraries
and other Information Technology Services groups to design,
develop, and customize solutions to library information problems
and services.
