Theses and Dissertations
Information Technology Services is one of several University departments collaborating on the Electronic Theses and Dissertations (eTD) initiative at Penn State for the electronic submission of dissertations. Penn State is actually part of a larger project known as the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD). A software package that helps writers format their theses according to Graduate School guidelines was developed and is available through the ITS Help Desk in 215 Computer Building, University Park.
Book Publishing

Software for Publishing
PSUthesi, a software package for Microsoft Word users, helps writers format their theses according to Graduate School guidelines.
Software and word processing software are available to students, faculty, and staff at low academic prices. Visit the Computer Store to save on software and equipment for your academic and professional needs.
Web Publishing
Information Technology Services offers World Wide Web server space for all Penn State students, faculty, staff, colleges, and departments. A Penn State Access Account is required. Web space application and duration are subject to the ITS policies Web Services and Access Account Qualifications. See Web Services and the ITS Web FAQ for information and instructions.

The Penn State University Libraries offer a wealth of resources and services, including the following:
- The CAT: the Penn State Libraries catalog.
- My Library Account: check circulation activity on your account, request books and articles, request items form other institutions, update your address, and more.
- Books and More: find books, films, and other materials at Penn State and elsewhere.
- Research Tools: research guides by subject or by course, online reference resources, and an A-Z list.
- Online Reference Resources: almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, weights and measures, and much more.
