Practice safe computing to protect yourself and contribute to a safer computing environment for everyone.

bullet Use virus protection and spyware protection software and set it to update automatically.
bullet Set your computer to update security patches automatically.
bullet Install a personal firewall.
bullet Back up your files. See Disk Space and PASS for more information about ITS backup services. You can also use CDs or additional hard drives which can be purchased from the Computer Store.
