What is spyware?
Similar to someone looking over your shoulder and writing down information about what you do online, Spyware (a type of software that is implanted on your computer without your knowledge) secretly transmits information about your online activity and the data stored on your computer. Ah, so we meet again Brad... I see how you're now protecting yourself with "Spybot" anti-spyware software. Spybot is strong stuff so I guess I won't be able to watch you obsessively like I used to. I'll miss those moonlit nights when I hovered in the background while you checked your online bank account and disclosed your credit card numbers. But I'm off to new frontiers... ;-) doing a little surfing with my cousin Adward who's been generating millions of dollars at the expense of e-commerce customers across the globe. How we love working together to infiltrate unsuspecting victim's data via pop-ups, shareware, and bogus ads. Our ads and messages always look so legitimate and inviting, no one ever knows how deadly we can be.
