What is antivirus?

A virus is a program or piece of code that is installed on your computer without your knowledge and runs against your wishes. Most viruses can also replicate themselves. A simple virus that can make a copy of itself over and over again is relatively easy to produce. Even such a simple virus is dangerous because it will quickly use all available memory and bring the system to a halt. An even more dangerous type of virus is one capable of transmitting itself across networks and bypassing security systems. Learn how to protect yourself.

Vic said all the right things ... enticing me with his exotic charm and strange but compelling manner. I felt unable to resist his frequent mysterious messages and overtures. One night while I was fine-tuning my preferences, I foolishly decided to accept one of Victor's attachments. Within an instant Vic was in full control of my system. He shared my personal files, monitored my keyboard, and even erased my hard drive!! He just completely took over, without any regard for my interface needs :-(

Vic became a spine-covered mutating catastrophe ...infiltrating every part of my digital space!

If you want to avoid parasites like Vic - take if from me - WATCH OUT, these vermin will say anything to get you in their power!!
Don't open suspicious looking attachments and ALWAYS use protection when you interact online!
